Hi, I’m Karen—mom, wife, veteran elementary teacher, and the creator of The Classroom Cues™.

After 12 years in the classroom (and two Teacher of the Year awards), I’ve learned that classroom management doesn’t have to be loud, complicated, or tied to behavior charts and bribes. The best systems are visual, consistent, and quiet.

Over the years, I’ve mentored both new and experienced teachers—helping them bring structure, calm, and confidence into their classrooms. Nothing makes me happier than seeing a teacher go from surviving to thriving with the right tools in place.

It all started with one silly holiday headband and a goal to cut down on interruptions. That quick fix turned into a strategy my students actually followed—and now, it’s the heart of the systems I create and share with you.
